Our client is currently recruiting a Senior Electrical Engineering with experience in Utility Scale Solar. The position is fully remote.
Responsibilities
• Function as a technical lead design engineer managing, leading and designing a variety of solar utility scale projects and teams
• Develop electrical design deliverables of solar (PV) panels
• Create one line drawings and collection system layouts, power cable sizing and cable schedules, equipment sizing and more!
• Actively participate in management, project scheduling, and work resource planning meetings
• Interface directly with clients, vendors and subcontractors
• QA/QC projects, signing off on designs, and mentoring junior engineers
• In this role you can expect to lead a team of electrical design engineers and use existing knowledge of renewable energy design standards to oversee the following tasks:
• Creating oneline drawings
• Electrical equipment sizing and selection
